Alosson is a Chiku Yumipon Uberhero first introduced in Patapon 3. Like Yumiyacha, Alosson is a long-range archer capable raining down arrows across the battlefield. He can strike opponents farther, harder, and faster than Yumiyacha when equipped with a longbow, improving his already high range and accuracy.

Acquisition

Alosson is at level 7 when unlocked, which is when Yumiyacha reaches level 7.

• When Alosson and Yumiyacha reach level 12, Cannogabang is unlocked.

Appearance

Alosson initially sports a light blue mask in the form of a Chiku Rarepon and wears a lime green cape by default.

As Alosson evolves, his mask turns blue and his spines begin to grow, resembling a Chikkuri. Finally, it turns a deep indigo color and the spines grow even longer, resembling a Chikurinchi.

Uberhero Mode: Arrow Shower

During Arrow Shower, Alosson relentlessly fires off glowing blue explosive arrows at a rapid pace. The longer his Uberhero mode is kept up, the stronger and faster the arrows become. Like the Yumipon Hero's "Broken Arrow" in Patapon 2, Alosson will remain mostly in place during Arrow Shower, moving very slowly if his target moves in or out of his range. The rate of fire is based solely on Alosson's attack speed.

Class Skills

As with all Class Skills, each skill requires 100,000 experience to master. The amount of experience gained is dependent on the skill.

Set Skills

Alosson can equip up to four Set Skills. At level 20, he can equip another Set Skill, for a total of five.

Strategy

• As Kan, Alosson and Yumiyacha more or less identical. Alosson can provide more damage per second, while Yumiyacha can provide more burst damage.
• In dungeon, Arrow Shower may be blocked by walls and low ceilings, severely limiting the usefulness of Alosson. However, if a bow has the ability to pierce through terrain, specifically the Yoichiro, this disadvantage is nullified.
• It takes a minimum of three commands for Arrow Shower to reach it's maximum potential.
• With certain equipment, Class Skills, and Set Skills, Alosson's attack speed during Arrow Shower can reach 0.07, the absolute lowest attack speed achievable by any class.
• Specifically, Alosson must unlock all his Class Skills, equip the Rajinpon's Bow and the Shubabassa Gale Helm, and use Oohoroc's Lightning Master Set Skill.
• If all Class Skills have been obtained, Alosson can use slower bows, like the Krakabom Crossbow, with minimal drawback.
• The Tropical Tailwind Set Skill is essential for many Yumiyacha-class units.
• The Big Bonfire Set Skill is extremely valuable for fire-based builds, such as Cannogabang and Oohoroc.
• Alosson's Class Skills develop for every arrow fired, meaning that using faster equipment will increase the development speed of his skills.

Trivia

• Although Alosson is a DPS (damage per second) unit, none of his Set Skills affect attacking speed.
• Yumiyacha's "Peerless Bow" is similar to Alosson's "Desperado", but gives you more damage for extra damage taken.
• Alosson fires arrows based on attack speed, while Yumiyacha fires 1 - 6 arrows (from Class Skills) for every attack speed interval. (e.g Fire 3 arrows every two seconds)
• Alosson has the fastest attack speed for a range unit, while Myamsar has the fastest attack speed in the game for a melee unit.
• During multiplayer, Peerless Hedgehog may not work reliably due to server desync.
