Learning a new Class Skill

Class Skills are a new feature in Patapon 3. They are passive skills that change a class's abilities to make them more powerful, or provide with other bonuses. Unlike Set Skills, class skills are always active and cannot be disabled.

Class skills become active once they have been unlocked, but upgrading them through repeated use and training will unlock the next class skill. Every class skill requires 100,000 experience to master, and the experienced gained is dependent on which class skill is being used. Mastery progress can be viewed by accessing the class skill menu in each unit's load-out. Some class skills will be inherited by another class, allowing them to make use the same skill. For example, mastering Yarida's Five Spear skill will allow Piekron to throw five spears as well.

Certain units will gain a special Welcome Bonus for completely mastering all their class skills, further improving some statistics.
