Equipment Sets

In Patapon 3, certain pieces of equipment can be equipped together to gain additional bonus. Common elemental equipment, such as Flame, Ice, Lightning, as well as Sleepy equipment, can be equipped together to increase attack power and their relevant status effect rate/resistance. Equipping four equipment of the same element will provide complete immunity to their relevant resistance.

• Flame equipment increase burn rate and freeze resistance.
• Ice equipment increase freeze rate and burn resistance.
• Lightning equipment increases stagger rate and resistance.
• Sleepy equipment increases sleep rate and resistance.

Certain Unique and Super Unique equipment can be combined to grant special effects:

Trivia

• In the Japanese version, equipment sets are internally referred to as "Resonance Effects".
• Although multiple pieces of equipment exist for them, Poison, Critical, Stagger, and Repel equipment do not gain any equipment bonuses.
• Some of the Equipment Sets can be seen during the end credits, such as the Natura's Touch Set and Great Golem Set.
• Unique and Super Unique equipment that share a similar theme to common equipment set, like the Fireblessed Shield for Flame and Murakumon for Lightning, do not work as pieces with the associated group.
