Ewe and Bunnies at Bryun Snowfield is a hunting mission in Patapon 2. After defeating the enemy presence on Bryun Snowfield, the Patapons are free to hunt the many rare animals populating the tundras- including the so-called "King of the Snowfield".
JuJus/Miracles will not affect this mission.
Walkthrough
In the snowfield, there are Kacheeks, Snow Kacheeks, Momotis, Rappapas, and Pekkora, with its children, Pekkorako. Grass is scattered here and there, making a total of 9 grass patches.
If the Pekkora sees you, it will hop to and fro, and look around until attacked.
Pekkorako are hiding inside the Pekkora's body. When attacking the Pekkora, it will become staggered, and Pekkorako will be flung out of the Pekkora's body. The Pekkorako will attempt to retreat, and will regather inside it's mothers body if given time.
If a Pekkorako is killed before the Pekkora, the Pekkorako will go berserk and begin to attack your Patapons. If the Pekkora is killed while Pekkorakos are still alive, the remaining Pekkorakos will cry and become passive. They will become untargetable and will not drop anything.
Hunting the Pekkora for the first time will give you the Unopenable Box.
The Unopenable Box unlocks the Dogaeen boss which is between Missions 12 and 13.
Trivia
- Kacheeks are likely to spawn regardless of the weather.
- Snow Kacheeks will spawn in either clear or snowy weather, but more appear in snowy weather.
- Momotis will spawn in either clear or snowy weather, but more appear in clear weather.
- Rappapas will only appear on clear weather, and can spawn hiding in any or all grass patches.
- Pekkora and its Pekkorakos are always at the end of the mission, regardless of weather.
