Kanodia evo

Kanokko are a type of Rarepon introduced in Patapon 2. These Rarepons are light brown with large antlers, resembling a deer. Kanokko grow into Kanokyon and Kanodia, causing the antlers to grow even larger and longer along with a deer-like nose appearing. Similar to Chigyobi, Kanokko are well-rounded offensive Rarepons, having good HP bonuses, damage growth, and critical, knockback, and stagger rates. In addition, they resist criticals, knockbacks, and staggers very well, becoming completely immune once fully developed.

Although described as "the perfect Patapon", Kanokko have a few limitations. Their all-around nature does eliminate specific weaknesses, but this also means that they may not be as effective as more specialized Rarepons in specific situations. For example, a snowy level with ice-based opponents is more easily conquered with Mofu and Koppen, while Nyontama are better suited for stormy and fiery areas. Kanokko are also somewhat lacking against bosses, where they are outclassed by Rarepons more focused on stagger and critical effects, such as Menyokki and Sabara. Also, they have no resistances to elemental attacks and non-physical status effects, like Ignite, Freeze, and Sleep, but equipment of certain classes can help compensate for this.

Nonetheless, Kanokko are one of the most versatile Rarepons, able to fit in any army as any class. Their true worth is in battles against enemy tribes armed with various types of weapons, where their lack of weaknesses and powerful combat abilities make them especially dangerous to their foes.

Kanokko evolve from Chigyobi Rarepons, and evolve into Mogyu Rarepons. Evolving any Tatepon into a Kanokko will unlock Robopon's memory.
