Gekoronba evo

Nyontama (Gekolos in Patapon 1) are a type of Rarepon present in Patapon 1 and Patapon 2. These Rarepons are light green and have additional large eyes, resembling a frog. Nyontama are naturally resistant to fire and good damage and critical bonuses. In Patapon 2, they become slightly vulnerable to staggers.

Nyontama are excellent early-game Rarepons, as they are easy to acquire and have good offensive and defensive abilities. Their resistance to fire make them a reliable choice, as fire is a common element.

Patapon 1[]

Gekolos

In Patapon 1, Gekolos can be created by combining two level 2 materials or a level 1 material and a level 3 material. They attack slightly faster than normal and have a slight boost to critical rate. They also resist criticals and staggers, and are completely immune to ignite.

  • +50 HP for Dekapons
  • +20% faster attack speed
  • +5 / +5 damage (+8 / +8 for Dekapons)
  • +10% critical rate (+20% for Dekapons)
  • +20% critical and stagger resistance (+30% for Dekapons)
  • Immunity to ignition.
  • -20% defense against spears (-50% for Dekapons)

Patapon 2[]

In Patapon 2, Nyontama grow into Gekoroth and Gekoronpa, causing their eyes to grow larger and small frog-like feet to appear. They lose their faster attack speed, but have improved damage growth and critical rate.

Nyontama evolve from Pyopyo Rarepons, and evolve into Chiku.

In Patapon 3, Nyontama make an appearance as the Piekron Uberhero class. Piekron is a Nyontama Yaripon that also carries a shield. He can summon rainstorms and cause lightning to strike wherever his spears land.

Trivia[]

  • The colors of Nyontama seem to change between games. In Patapon 1, they are more yellow-green, while in Patapon 2 they become slightly greener. In Patapon 3, a fully-evolved Piekron is quite green.
